Army/National Guard

Sir: I was referred by the Ultimate Basic Training
I am 56 years old and interested in joining the military or army reserve, not as an active duty personnel, but as a non active personnel, i.e., administrative assistant, court reporter, legal assistant, paralegal, etc.
I am in very good health and am willing to travel if necessary for training. Who should I direct my inquiry to get started and what steps would I have to take? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Valerie,
Thanks for your interest in serving. The maximum enlistment age is currently thirty-five years. There are some exceptions if you are a legal or medical professional. I can give you details on those programs if you’d like. Please call me at 562 900.0575 or complete a request for information at IGuardCalifornia.com
I am and still interested in joining the Army Reserves. I am prior service with 16 yrs of honorable service in the U.S Army. I was an SSG/E-6 in the Intelligence field. I went to a recruiter in NC March 2012 and they said if I had came in four months earlier I would have got in. Is that correct? Can I still go in or not?
Ma’m,
Suzanne,
First off, thanks for your service. Alot depends on your DD214 service dates but without actually doing the math it sounds accurate. I’d love to help you, if you want to email me at national_guard_recruiter@yahoo.com with the specifics I can look into it. Sometimes the military makes exceptions for Intelligence if you have a language skill that’s needed or some other training. Let’s chat, email me.
Respectfully,
SSG B

Oh yeah I forgot to put age. 54 yrs old.
Suzanne,
I know you stated you’re interested in Army Reserve, but if your willing to go Guard, we’d be able to enlist you as long as you meet all entrance requirements.
Respectfully,
SSG B
good day
I have a couple of questions.
1. Not a resident of the U.S. to get on the service in the U.S. Army .. (Age 40 years experience in ground operations in Chechnya and Yugoslavia, the former captain of the Special Forces of the USSR)
2. I learned about the problems of recruitment in the U.S.., I had the idea of creating a recruitment agency in Ukraine. Recruitment of physically and mentally strong guys.
