What Do Drill Sergeants Want From Me?

What Do Drill Sergeants Want From Me?
A common question many recruits joining the US military ask. Whether you are starting army basic training, USMC Training, or any other branch of service, drill instructors want the same thing. They want you to become a member of the armed forces, but they aren’t going to be nice about it. If training was easy, then everyone would do it, not just 3% of the US population. If military fitness was a piece of cake, then our military wouldn’t be the most highly trained in the world.
Let’s use this example, if you are preparing for military basic training, specifically army basic training, and you have Richard Simmons teaching you how to prepare for Army fitness, in 10 minute increments, the military would be laughable. You need a hard-core instructor to teach you hard core training. So, don’t be mad at your drill instructor if you find them less than pleasant.
